OMG an Update?

Holy crap I apologize guys. My wife over the past month has been ill, and we found out it was gall stones. She needed surgery and I took some time to take care of her and the finances. The off season for Major League Baseball is not as eventful this year as I was hoping either. (Thus the lack of info/news)

Congradulations to the Philadelphia Phillies on winning the World Series! A well fought championship and now the National League are champions again. We've changed leagues for the past 4 years now.

Now we are currently in the midst of Free Agency and there isn't a whole lot changing. The big trade so far is Matt Holliday going to the A's for 3 players to the Rockies. Strange there isn't much going on though as there are some SERIOUS players on the market this year and could shake up the field greatly.

I think we'll start the next tournament soon, I will post a new poll up to decide what we'll be doing.

Expect that soon. See you then...

Primary Logo Champion!

It took 4 months. But we have our first tournament winner on this blog!

Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Rays, the new logo looks fantastic and the people think so too! Not only that, but they are currently tied and fighting the Red Sox for a chance at going to the World Series. A good year for the Rays, who dropped the 'devil' out of their names over the off-season. Coincidence? Maybe. Regardless, the Rays are on their way to making a name for themselves, and I'll be watching.

Poll Re-Opened!

Another tie! It's only 4 votes but it's still 50/50 on who will win.

Go vote if you haven't below!

Closed Polls

Welp, I forgot to turn off multiple votes and it got hammered. Lovely.

However, a few votes after and we have a winner! Detroit Tigers! So the final is set. After about a month of voting, you've decided on our two finalists.

In the championship round!
Detroit Tigers VS. Tampa Bay Rays

I'll update as soon as I get another chance. Get ready to vote!

OMG I live!

Well, we ended up getting a new service and that is the reason for the substantial down time for me. It's installed and I'm back! So the polls for the finals are up!

Polls end on Sunday September 21.

The tournament bracket at the bottom of the page has also been updated.

TAMPA BAY RAYS WASHINGTON NATIONALS

Semi-Finals Over!

I left the Indians and D-backs poll open to allow the tie to be broken. Well it has and now our division championship round is about to begin. First, who moved on and who got left behind.

Detroit Tigers
Arizona Diamondbacks
Tampa Bay Rays
Washignton Nationals
Milwaukee Brewers
Toronto Blue Jays
Cleveland Indians
Houston Astros

I'm currently at work and I can't update the bracket, or post the polls. So this weekend will be the time to visit this blog. I'll post them as soon as I can, and you'll get a chance to make history.

Round 2 Winners!

I know that this round went a little quick. The amount of voters shot down about half, so I'm going to allow the next round to last an extra week.

First, the winners of Round 2 are!

Arizona Diamondbacks
Houston Astros
Detroit Tigers
Toronto Blue Jays
Tampa Bay Rays
Milwaukee Brewers
Cleveland Indians
Washington Nationals (Got a pass in the first round)

Congrats to those logos! Hahaha, the next round will be posted shortly. Stay Tuned.

Round 2 Posted

Alright everyone, the second round is up! Remember, the Nationals get a pass since there was an uneven number of teams. The entire round is up for voting, so get to it. The polls close at 12 noon on the 20th of August.

Leave a comment when you choose which logo is better. Feedback is appreciated from everyone on here!

Round 2 and Tournament Bracket

I've got the tournament bracket up and will be posting the polls for the 2nd round as soon as I can. Being at work makes it a little hard to do so.

Check out the bracket at the bottom of the page!
